Most women are wearing an incorrect bra size. 

And bra sizing can be different from brand to brand, if you’re a 36DDD in Natori, you might be a 40D in Lillyette or Wacoal. It all depends on the strap and clasp placing and cup volume.

Your back bra strap should fit across the center of your back, almost to the natural waist. The shoulder straps should be long enough to allow this, and if you’ve got it right, the sides of the straps should fit and smooth over that little spot under/behind the arms where we get that unsightly strap bulge. There should be enough room in the cups for the entire breast (don’t forget that bit near your armpit too, it shouldn’t be bulging out or trying to escape the cup) and there should be enough give in the cup to slide two fingers under it. The “U” of the bra, or the middle bit between the girls where the underwires meet should be flush against your breastbone. You want some separation between the breasts, they shouldn’t be mashed together all the time. Cleavege is great, but too much togetherness for the girls can cause wrinkling, blemishes, and a more saggy upper chest.

If you can,  it really does pay to get a proper bra fitting, and not from victorias secret. Specialty bra stores that cater to the well endowed woman are usually better at handling your girls and any special requirements/ fitting challenges you may have.

Personally, I reccomend going to an Intimacy  store (http://www.myintimacy.com) and having a fitting. It’s litterally you, topless, in a fitting room with a specialist feeling you up and having you do the bend and shake to see what fits right. (It was the best bra fitting I’ve ever had and I’m a 36H)

You may have to try on every damn bra in the store, but when you find one that is comfortable, fits right, and is flattering, it’s worth it! (I also recommend saving the tags, so you can go online and order more, usually cheaper.)

Getting in the shower after spending the day at the beach and taking your bathing suit top off only to find that you’ve brought half of the beach home with you…Including a chunk of dead jellyfish.

(This just happened to me, hopped in the shower & took off my bikini top and a chunk of dead {harmless} jelly fell out.)
